Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a licensed Pharmacist Manager to oversee comprehensive pharmacy operations in our U.S. stores. You will counsel patients, verify prescriptions, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.

You will lead pharmacy staff performance, support clinical services such as immunizations and wellness programs, and drive an exceptional patient experience through effective leadership and collaboration with Store Managers.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD and active licensure.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy experience including dispensing, recordkeeping, and insurance billing.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become within 90 days of hire.
• Leadership and strong customer service skills with no recent disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, interactions, and OTC options.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Review and accurately dispense prescribed medications per regulations and policies.
• Lead pharmacy team, oversee scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Improve patient experience and support health services (immunizations, testing, wellness).
