Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead a high-volume community pharmacy in Kansas City, MO. You will oversee clinical services, workflow efficiency, inventory, and staff performance to deliver outstanding patient care.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, supervise pharmacists and technicians, and partner with store leadership to expand health and wellness initiatives while maintaining regulatory standards and strong patient experiences.

Qualifications

Requires a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy and current pharmacist licensure in eligible states.
Experience leading pharmacy teams and managing a busy clinical environment is preferred.
Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations and Good Faith dispensing policy is essential.

Responsibilities

Counsels patients on medication usage, interactions, and safety.
Performs dispensing, compounding, and verification of prescriptions.
Manages pharmacy operations, schedule, and staff engagement to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Ensures regulatory compliance, audits, and quality assurance across the pharmacy.
