Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist license in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including dispensing, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance billing.
• Experience performing prescription dispensing activities and knowledge of state/federal controlled substance laws.
• Internal candidates: average leadership ratings with no disciplinary actions in last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and OTC options.
• Performs compounding, drug reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Dispenses prescribed medications accurately and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Oversees pharmacy workflow, staff scheduling, roles, and performance reviews.
• Collaborates with store management to develop new strategic opportunities.
• Maintains pharmacy IT knowledge and supports staff and patients with systems.
