Job summary

Walgreens in Indiana is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead daily operations, ensure accurate dispensing, and uphold regulatory compliance while delivering compassionate care to patients. You will supervise pharmacists and technicians, manage inventory and scheduling, support immunization programs, and partner with store leadership to expand health services in the community.

This role requires a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, active licensure, and at least one year of pharmacy experience

Qualifications

Pharmacy degree and licensure in applicable states.
Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience including dispensing, recordkeeping, and insurance billing.
Experience with prescription dispensing and understanding of state/federal regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide empathetic patient counseling on medication use, interactions, and safety.
Counsel on immunizations and clinical health services.
Oversee compounding, verification, and dispensing per policy and regulatory guidelines.
Manage pharmacy workflow, scheduling, inventory, and staff performance.
Collaborate with store leadership to expand health services and improve patient experience.
Ensure compliance with Good Faith Dispensing and other regulatory requirements.
