Job summary

COMMUNITY HEALTH of SOUTH DADE, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist Manager to assist the Chief Pharmacist in directing all Pharmacy Department activities across CHI locations.

The role includes supervising prescription interpretation, preparation, and delivery, and ensuring quality assurance and accreditation readiness. The selected candidate will oversee inventory, coordinate with external agencies, and lead in-service trainings, with emphasis on patient counseling and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in good standing with the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association and AIDS certification.
• Experience in storeroom and inventory procedures; lead in program development and QA.

Responsibilities

• Data entry in Intergy and Pharmacy Order Entry System.
• Supervise ordering of prescription medications and packing materials.
• Develop cost-cutting programs with upper management support.
• Maintain records including daily reports and controlled drug reports.
