Responsibilities

• Data entry in Intergy and Pharmacy Order Entry System.
• Answer department phones promptly with courteous greeting.
• File and retrieve prescriptions.
• Supervise ordering of prescription medications and supplies.
• Develop cost-cutting program with management support.
• Maintain daily and controlled drug reports.
• Coordinate and deliver items to CHI locations.
• Provide drug information to medical staff promptly.
• Ensure private counseling for patients and offer info.
• Prepare two in-service trainings with handouts.
• Prepare department for JCAHO accreditation.
