Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills essential.
• Experience supervising pharmacy staff preferred.
• Licensed pharmacist in SC or eligible for SC licensure.
• PharmD or Bachelors in Pharmacy from an accredited school.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, direction and supervision of pharmacy staff at the North Campus.
• Coordinates and supervises staffing, scheduling and workflows to optimize efficiency.
• Collaborates with providers and leadership to improve quality management programs.
• Administers policies and procedures on a day-to-day basis.
• Performs staff evaluations and develops goals with each team member.
• Oversees pharmacy quality, services and fiscal outcomes.
• Ensures ongoing training for staff to enhance performance.
• Manages technology and automation to ensure safe drug therapy processes.
• Designs and implements action plans to address staff needs.
• Supervises clinical services to ensure consistent quality and safety.
• Audits areas stocking medications and inspects sites quarterly.
• Supports research activities and pharmacy services for studies at North Campus.
• Precepts pharmacy students and covers frontline duties as needed.
