Qualifications

• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance billing.
• An average rating of at least 3.0 on leadership behaviors on the last performance review if one is on file (internal candidates).

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions, contraindications, generics, and OTC products.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets and accurately dispenses prescribed medications per regulations.
• Oversees pharmacy workflow, scheduling, roles, and staff development to maintain efficiency.
• Ensures Good Faith Dispensing compliance with state and federal laws.
• Collaborates with Store Manager to define new strategic opportunities.
• Maintains IT knowledge of pharmacy systems, inventory management, billing and reporting.
• Maintains relationships with local medical community to promote health services.
