• Experience with state and federal controlled substance laws.
• Internal candidates: leadership rating on last performance review and no disciplinary actions in the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets and dispenses prescribed medications accurately.
• Ensures operations comply with laws, policies, and standards; oversees scheduling and workflow.
• Maintains pharmacy systems knowledge and supports staff with IT tasks.
• Manages inventory, insurance claims, and third-party audits.
• Collaborates with Store Manager to expand health services and community outreach.
