Actalent is seeking a Pharmacy Manager in Saint Louis, MO to lead a team of pharmacists, technicians, interns, and students. You will ensure safe dispensing, provide patient counseling, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes.

The role involves managing inventory, administering immunizations, MTM, and point-of-care testing, while ensuring adherence to pharmacy regulations and quality standards in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited program.
• Active Missouri Pharmacist License in good standing.
• 5+ years of pharmacy experience.
• Immunization certification.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations, inventory management, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage pharmacy staff, including technicians, interns, and students.
• Ensure safe, accurate, and compliant dispensing of medications.
• Provide patient counseling, education, and exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Oversee inventory management and medication storage procedures.
• Administer immunizations and support preventative health initiatives.
• Deliver clinical services such as medication therapy management (MTM) and point-of-care testing.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, HIPAA, and pharmacy regulations.
• Support community outreach programs and build partnerships that improve patient access to care.
