Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, a part of UnitedHealth Group, is opening a new pharmacy inside Coastal Horizons Center in Shallotte, NC. The Pharmacy Manager will oversee daily operations, ensure clinical and financial performance, and mentor pharmacy staff to deliver patient-centered care.

The role requires NC pharmacist licensure, a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, and immunizer certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
• Current pharmacist’s license in North Carolina.
• Certified immunizer or willing to become one within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Creates a great consumer and clinic partner experience and builds relationships.
• Counsels and educates patients on medications, adverse effects, and usage.
• Ensures pharmacy staff follow policies and laws.
• Coaches and develops pharmacy staff for exceptional service.
