Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to supervise day-to-day operations at a community pharmacy. You will counsel patients, process prescriptions, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws while promoting high-quality care.

You will drive immunization services, inventory control, staff development, and patient experience initiatives to advance Walgreens’ health-and-w wellness objectives in the local community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy experience including dispensing and compliance.
• Experience with prescription dispensing activities and insurance billing.

Responsibilities

• Provide empathetic patient counseling on medications, interactions, and side effects.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and efficient pharmacy workflow.
• Oversee staff training, performance reviews and scheduling.
• Maintain Good Faith Dispensing practices and protect patient privacy.
• Collaborate with store management to grow pharmacy services and community health.
