Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in the state of practice (Illinois).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in retail/community pharmacy.
• 1 year of management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise day-to-day pharmacy operations.
• Hire technicians and staff; conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately; ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Implement and oversee pharmacy programs including financials, labor and inventory.
• Educate and mentor pharmacists and technicians to build a strong team.
• Motivate staff to achieve results and grow the pharmacy business.
• Ensure adherence to Meijer policies and state/federal laws.
• Oversee clinical services including immunizations where allowed.
• Communicate effectively and prioritize workload.
• Maintain inventory control and scheduling.
