Job summary

RiteChoice Pharmacy in the Philadelphia area is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance, and lead a patient-centered care approach. You will review prescriptions for clinical appropriateness, build relationships with community partners and patients, and guide staff to deliver fast, friendly service while maintaining 340B program familiarity.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy Degree required.
• Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of Pharmacist experience in retail.
• 340B experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written skills.
• Ability to effectively troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to enforce company standard policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review provider’s prescriptions for clinical appropriateness and legality prior to dispensing pharmaceuticals.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with community health center partners.
• Develop strong relationships with patients of the community health center by anticipating their needs and providing services efficiently.
• Increase health center budgets through appropriate dispensing.
• Oversee daily functions of lead and staff technicians and delivery drivers.

Overview

As Pharmacy Manager in the pharmacy, you play the central role in overseeing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with all company and regulatory standards. Below is an overview of key responsibilities and expectations for this position.

Supervision

The Pharmacy Manager will report directly to the Regional Pharmacy Operations Manager.

• This position will be full time on-site in a Philadelphia region pharmacy.
