Responsibilities

• Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge and ensure regulatory compliance (USP, FDA, and state boards).
• Oversee sterile compounding operations, including workflow, personnel, and quality assurance programs.
• Ensure compliance with multi-state pharmacy regulations, including California and other non-resident state requirements.
• Maintain and enforce SOPs for sterile compounding.
• Hire, supervise, and train pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
• Manage pharmacy inspections, audits, and regulatory interactions.
• Oversee environmental monitoring, validation, and documentation programs.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and dispensing of compounded sterile preparations.
• Collaborate with leadership on operational strategy, expansion, and licensing initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure readiness for inspections at all times.
