Job description

Turn your leadership expertise into meaningful community impact as the Pharmacy Manager at a respected hospital in scenic Northwestern Colorado, where professional growth, small-town connection, and Rocky Mountain adventure come together!

This Pharmacy Manager will join a mission-driven healthcare organization known for compassionate, patient-first service and a strong commitment to clinical quality, medication safety, and community health. The hospital offers an engaging environment where clinicians can influence care delivery, collaborate directly with organizational leaders, and see the measurable impact of their work. A close-knit culture, interdisciplinary teamwork, modern clinical resources, and ongoing investment in accessible rural healthcare make this an excellent setting for a Pharmacy Manager seeking autonomy, visibility, and purpose.

The Pharmacy Manager will oversee inpatient pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, pharmacy operations, and pharmacy administration while helping advance safe, efficient, and evidence-based medication practices. This opportunity features a Monday through Friday day shift, competitive pay, a sign-on bonus, relocation and housing assistance, and support from an experienced Director of Pharmacy. As the Pharmacist-in-Charge, the successful candidate will help maintain regulatory readiness, strengthen medication-use systems, support formulary management, and promote effective pharmacy services across the continuum of care.

Reporting to an experienced Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Manager will lead daily department activities, supervise and mentor pharmacy personnel, coordinate staffing and workflow, manage inventory, support compliance, and partner on quality-improvement initiatives. The PIC will work closely with friendly nurses, physicians, administrators, and a diverse team of healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy, reinforce antimicrobial stewardship, reduce risk, and deliver responsive pharmaceutical care. Leadership support and accessible interdisciplinary partners will allow the Pharmacy Manager to implement practical improvements while remaining connected to patients and frontline teams.

Living in Northwestern Colorado near the Utah border gives the Pharmacy Manager access to wide-open landscapes, uncrowded trails, camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, mountain biking, river recreation, and memorable weekend road trips throughout Colorado and Utah. The region offers abundant sunshine, four distinct seasons, dramatic high-desert scenery, parks and green space, community events, local dining, and a relaxed lifestyle with less congestion and shorter commutes than major metropolitan areas. Varied housing options, family-friendly schools, pet-friendly outdoor spaces, essential everyday amenities, regional healthcare access, and a welcoming community make this area especially appealing to a PIC who values privacy, natural beauty, and genuine work-life balance.

The Pharmacy Manager will receive competitive compensation and a full suite of health and retirement benefits designed to support long-term professional and personal wellbeing. With meaningful leadership responsibilities, daytime scheduling, financial incentives, and relocation resources, this PIC opportunity offers an exceptional next step in hospital pharmacy leadership.
