We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist‑in‑Charge to support a 13‑week contract assignment in Scottsdale, AZ. This role will oversee operations during a facility decommissioning and relocation project. Multiple pharmacist licenses are required.
Local candidates are preferred, but remote pharmacists willing to hang licenses will also be considered.
Job Duties
- Serve as the designated PIC for Arizona and applicable non‑resident state licenses
- Oversee regulatory, operational, and quality functions for a 503A compounding pharmacy
- Maintain active licensure in Arizona and additional required states: IL, MA, WV, KS, KY, OH, OK, TX, VA, MD, AL, LA, MI, TN, NE, NV, OR
- Lead and represent the pharmacy during regulatory inspections and audits
- Ensure compliance with FDA, DEA, USP <795>/<797>, and Arizona Board of Pharmacy regulations
- Develop, update, and enforce SOPs and staff training programs
- Manage licensure, accreditation, and regulatory documentation
- Submit required reports, including theft/loss and PIC changes
- Support decommissioning efforts as the facility transitions to a new location
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Doctorate in Pharmacy
- Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience, including experience hosting inspections
- Familiarity with 503A compounding operations and DEA regulatory requirements
