Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center on the Eastern Shore is seeking a dedicated care coordinator to manage appointments, medications, and documentation. You will coordinate labs, MAT injections, pharmacy orders, and ensure timely authorizations within our EMR system.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, collaborative treatment environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Experience with scheduling and multitasking in healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Schedule medical appointments, transportation, labs, MAT injections, etc.
• Oversee medications, pharmacy orders and deliveries, and obtain prescription authorizations.
• Maintain complete documentation of all appointments, labs, and medical records in EMR
• Collaborate with extended treatment team as necessary, escalating concerns
• Ensure all services are provided in an efficient and timely manner
