Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a detail-oriented administrative professional to support medical scheduling and medication management at our Eastern Shore facility. This role supports the clinical team and ensures timely access to labs, injections, and treatments.

You will maintain EMR records, coordinate pharmacy orders, and liaise with nurses and clinicians to keep care flowing smoothly. Strong communication and multitasking will help you thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/ GED or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Time management, collaborative, and multitasking skills.
• Understanding of substance use and its bio-psychosocial consequences.

Responsibilities

• Schedule medical appointments, transportation, labs, MAT injections etc.
• Oversee all medications, pharmacy orders and deliveries, and obtain prescription authorizations.
• Maintain complete documentation of all appointments, labs, and medical records in EMR
• Collaborate with extended treatment team as necessary, escalating any concerns
• Ensure all services are provided in an efficient and timely manner
