Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare in Brooklyn Park is seeking a Pharmacist in Charge to direct and coordinate all pharmacy activities in the Community Pharmacy department. This in-person role ensures optimal, safe, and cost-effective drug therapies while maintaining regulatory compliance and high service standards.

You will supervise community pharmacists, technicians, interns, and students, manage scheduling and payroll, and work with Pharmacy Leadership to implement policies that promote excellent patient

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist in MN or eligible for same.
• Two years of pharmacy experience with focus in community pharmacy.
• 2-year residency and casual Pharmacist experience.
• 1-year residency and 1 year Pharmacist experience or 2 years Pharmacist experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports and assists the manager and director to align department goals with exceptional service and continuous improvement.
• Develops and implements action plans related to employee/patient engagement, financial performance, growth and performance strategies.
• Directly supervises Community Pharmacists, Technicians, Assistants, Interns and Students.
• Manages operations with staffing and budgetary compliance.
• Oversees hiring, training, scheduling, and timely performance evaluations.
• Ensures documentation of disciplinary processes and performance improvement initiatives.
• Acts as Pharmacist in Charge and collaborates with Pharmacy Leadership on policies and drug utilization.
• Oversee administrative tasks such as timecards, scheduling, and payroll accuracy.
