Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Pharmacist to lead and supervise the daily operations of the Meijer Pharmacy. You will oversee staffing, ensure accurate prescription filling, provide excellent patient service, and drive clinical programs and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy, licensed pharmacist
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana)
• CPR Certification
• 3 years of retail/community practice experience; 1 year management preferred

Responsibilities

• Staffing selection and hiring to meet staffing needs
• Fills prescriptions safely and accurately
• Implements pharmacy programs including financial results, clinical services, labor, inventory, stock loss, security and profitability
• Educates and mentors pharmacists and technicians to be effective team members
• Oversees clinical services such as immunizations and patient safety
