Job summary
CVS Health in Frankfort, KY seeks a Pharmacy Manager to lead a patient-centered team in a busy CVS pharmacy.
You will coach staff, ensure compliance with state and federal rules, and deliver immunizations and counseling while upholding safe dispensing.
This role requires active pharmacist license, NPI, and 1–2 years of experience, with a strong focus on patient care and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacist.
Responsibilities
- Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
- Complete required training within designated timeframe.
- Concentrate on prescription accuracy and patient safety.
- Lead the pharmacy team and provide coaching and feedback.
- Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and follow workflow procedures.
- Offer immunizations and counseling to patients.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and protect cold chain products.
- Onboard technicians and pharmacists and ensure licensure training.
- Ensure compliance with state boards and CVS policies.
- Coordinate with Store Manager to maintain staffing and cross-training.
- Review business reports to identify improvement opportunities.
- Foster a culture of safety and inclusion.
