Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited school.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including dispensing, recordkeeping, and insurance billing.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medicine usage, interactions, and privacy; refers to providers as needed.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews and dispenses prescribed medications; ensures compliance with laws and policies.
• Maintains pharmacy operations, scheduling, staffing, and compliance with regulations.
• Ensures Good Faith Dispensing and collaborates on new business opportunities.
• Maintains IT knowledge of pharmacy systems and supports staff and patients.
• Manages insurance claims processing and resolves issues with payers.
• Performs clinical services like immunizations and wellness testing.
