Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Manager in West Palm Beach, FL to provide empathetic pharmacy consulting, immunizations, and clinical services while ensuring accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance. You will lead workflow, staff performance, and service quality to enhance patient experience and drive pharmacy financials.

You will oversee compounding, drug therapy reviews, inventory management, and the implementation of Good Faith Dispensing policies.

Qualifications

BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree is required.
Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Counsels patients on medication usage, interactions, and side effects.
Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
Reviews and dispenses prescribed medications accurately and per regulations.
Oversees pharmacy operations, staffing, and adherence to policies and procedures.
Maintains pharmacy IT knowledge and supports staff with pharmacy systems.
Ensures insurance claims are processed and handles third-party audits.
Collaborates with Store Manager on strategic opportunities and community health promotion.
