Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including dispensing, recordkeeping, compliance, and insurance billing.
• Experience with state and federal controlled substance laws.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, interactions, and adsverse effects to ensure safe use.
• Performs dispensing, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures compliant pharmacy operations and smooth workflow across staff and processes.
• Oversees scheduling, roles, and shift changes; opens/closes the pharmacy.
• Maintains Good Faith Dispensing practices per regulatory requirements.
• Partners with Store Manager to identify growth opportunities and improve patient care.
• Maintains pharmacy IT systems knowledge and supports staff with technology.
