Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead a high-performing team in a busy retail pharmacy. You will oversee dispensing, clinical services, immunizations, and patient counseling while ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient workflow.

The role emphasizes staff development, performance management, and collaboration with healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes and pharmacy profitability.

Formación

• Pharmacist with a BS/Pharm D degree and licensed in the applicable state.
• Immunizer certification or willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy experience including dispensing, recordkeeping, and insurance billing.
• Knowledge of state and federal controlled substance laws and compliance requirements.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred for internal candidates.

Responsabilidades

• Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and safety.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews and accurately dispenses prescribed medications with regulatory compliance.
• Oversees pharmacy workflow, scheduling, and staff development.
• Provides immunization and clinical services as part of patient care.
