Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to oversee the daily operations of an on-site pharmacy, including dispensing medications and coaching staff to deliver high-quality care.

You will build strong relationships with clinics and consumers, ensure compliance with state and federal laws, and drive growth through performance metrics, talent development, and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• BS Pharmacy or Pharm D required.
• Current pharmacist license in IN.
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Creates a great consumer and clinic partner experience and continually builds strong relationships.
• Serves as an expert to the clinical staff and meets with their team on clinical outcomes.
• Counsels and educates patients on medication usage, adverse effects and schedules.
• Ensures the pharmacy and team follow policies and standards per laws.
• Performs wellness services such as immunizations and preventive services.
• Drives profitability and identifies opportunities to grow the pharmacy.
• Coaches pharmacy staff to meet potential and deliver exceptional service.
• Promotes a team environment reflecting core values and culture.
• Recruiting top talent and workforce planning to ensure operational excellence.
