Job summary

Smith's Food & Drug Centers in Taos, NM seeks an experienced pharmacist leader to manage all aspects of the pharmacy practice within state and federal laws and corporate policies. You will oversee budgeting, pricing, inventory control, staff development and clinical services while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring compliance with confidentiality requirements.

This role requires leadership, patient focus, and the ability to improve operations and outcomes while training staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy and/or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.) from an accredited U.S. School of Pharmacy
• 2+ years related retail experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Participation in clinical programs following company sponsored training
• Ability and willingness to continue education as necessary
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to read and interpret prescriptions and documents
• Proven leadership skills
• License must be in good standing
