Smith's Food and Drug in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Pharmacy Senior Certified Technician to support the pharmacy team, assist pharmacists, and provide a stellar customer experience.

You will ensure HIPAA compliance, maintain state licenses, train new technicians, manage scheduling and inventory, and participate in community health initiatives while adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year or more of Pharmacy Tech experience.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• Professional, dependable with positive attitude and good judgment.
• Self-motivated, organized, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support health and wellness initiatives.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Perform essential duties of a Pharmacy Senior Certified Technician.
• Maintain current state registration, certification, or license.
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities requiring professional judgment.
• Provide stellar customer experience with reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing.
• Train and mentor new hire technicians.
• Manage scheduling and station rotation for the hourly staff.
• Oversee inventory management and reconciliation.
