Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Pharmacy Certified Technician to support pharmacists, dispense medications and deliver exceptional customer service. The role includes training new technicians, maintaining compliance with HIPAA and state requirements, and leading daily operations to ensure accurate data entry, adjudication and product dispensing.

Qualifications

Pharmacy Certified Technician experience (1 year) within Kroger enterprise.
Demonstrated customer service excellence.
Ability to organize, plan, and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication with leaders and peers.
Completion of required state/national registration, certification or license per state requirements.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacist in responsibilities not requiring pharmacist judgment.
Provide a stellar customer experience in reception, data entry, adjudication and product dispensing.
Train and mentor new hire technicians daily.
Lead technician training and support for associates.
Support store health and safety and sanitation standards in line with regulations.
Oversee inventory management including orders, returns and physical counts.
Prepare for immunizations where permitted by state law.
Act as a pharmacy safety SME and coach on correctness.
Represent the store in meetings and huddles and manage staff scheduling.
