Kroger Co. in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Certified Technician to support our pharmacy team. You will assist the pharmacist, handle data entry, immunizations where permitted, and provide accurate dispensing while upholding HIPAA and safety standards.

You will train and mentor new hires, manage scheduling, and help ensure department standards through leadership by example. At Smith's Food & Drug, you’ll participate in community health initiatives and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Pharmacy Certified Technician experience within the Kroger enterprise.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Professional, dependable, positive attitude, good judgment, and leadership to a high performing pharmacy team.
• Able to organize, prioritize, plan and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and stellar customer service skills.
• Excellent communication with leaders and peers.
• State/national registration, certification or license as required by state.

Responsabilités

• Support company health and wellness initiatives.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain required state/national registrations/certifications.
• Assist pharmacist with responsibilities except where professional judgment is required.
• Provide stellar customer experience across reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Train and mentor new hire technicians daily.
• Lead technician training program and schedule rotation.
• Represent the department in store-wide meetings/huddles.
• Oversee inventory management and reconcile orders/returns.
• Administer immunizations where permitted by state law.
