Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, operations, software and insurance billing.
• Experience dispensing medications with knowledge of state and federal controlled substance laws.
• Leadership ratings on prior performance reviews (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Engages patients to ensure a positive experience and assists with products and services.
• Counsels on medication usage, interactions, side effects, and privacy; refers to providers as needed.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and efficient workflow; oversees staffing and scheduling.
• Maintains pharmacy systems knowledge, inventory control, and IT support for staff and patients.
• Collaborates with management to develop new business opportunities and community outreach.
• Manages patient registration, issue resolution, and virtual product reviews when applicable.
• Maintains ongoing training, licensing, and professional development.
