Job summary
Legacy Community Health seeks a Pharmacy Inventory Technician in Houston, TX to support the Inventory Manager and ensure smooth pharmacy inventory processes. You will coordinate item delivery across locations, manage stock, and maintain 340B program compliance to ensure accurate charging and dispensing.
You will work in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment, with opportunities to enhance skills and advance within Legacy’s expanding network of clinics across the Gulf Coast region.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with related experience.
- Must hold a current PTCB certificate.
- Must be registered with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
- Maintain BLS/CPR certification.
- Minimum 5 years pharmacy experience.
- Minimum 5 years pharmacy inventory management preferred.
- Demonstrates clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates analytical skills.
- Understanding of 340B pricing program practices.
- Experience with pharmacy software/hardware applications.
Responsibilities
- Serves as liaison to each pharmacy location for timely delivery of items.
- Reviews and assists with product changes in the pharmacy system for accurate charging/dispensing/accruals (340B).
- Follows up on back-orders, drug recalls, and problem orders per policy.
- Supports annual physical inventory of all pharmaceuticals, including controlled substances.
- Performs routine audits to maintain stock levels and recommends par-level changes.
- Assists in expired medication removal and coordinates disposal/credit with vendor.
- Manages new medication additions, including stock locations and label printing.

- Perform other duties as assigned
