Job summary

SelectQuote supports its Pharmacy operations with a Pharmacy Inventory Technician who will receive, track, and manage drug inventory, ensuring policy compliance and accurate cost records. The role involves processing receipts, cycle counts, recalls, and coordinating with the pharmacy manager to resolve discrepancies and maintain inventory integrity on the production floor.

Required is a high school diploma, 1–3 years in inventory control or as a pharmacy tech, plus KS licensing; strong MS Office

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory control or as a pharmacy tech.
• 3 years of experience in inventory control.
• Direct experience in retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy a plus.
• Knowledge of standard medical terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods, check against purchasing records, and update receipts.
• Coordinate with operations to meet business needs.
• Sort and stock inventory daily.
• Review inventory for expired/damaged/overstocked meds and coordinate disposal or return.
• Ensure accuracy of computerized inventory records; perform cycle counts.
• Conduct periodic physical inventories per management standards.
• Prepare for physical inventory with shelf locations and lot numbers; enter counts.
• Resolve reconciliation issues with accounting or management.
• Oversee responses to medication recalls with the pharmacy manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
