Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking a Pharmacy Inventory Specialist for the Merrimack Valley Outpatient Department in Boston. You will manage all Rx/OTC inventory, perform cycle counts, ensure accuracy, and support satellite locations.

You will lead staff training on inventory processes and collaborate with Purchasing to optimize par levels and system usage across multiple inventory platforms.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience with outpatient or retail pharmacy inventory required, or 2 years at DFCI outpatient pharmacy technician level 2–4.
• Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy Registration as a Pharmacy Technician required. National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) required.

Responsabilités

• Performs daily returns-to-stock, cycle counts and ensures on-hand accuracy of all Rx and OTC inventory.
• Oversees inventory rotation, removal and return of expired products, damages, recalls, and saleable returns with Purchasing help.
• Leads the orientation and training of all pharmacy staff for inventory related policy, procedures, and technology.
• Maintains inventory logs and reports and coordinates with Purchasing to maintain on-site par levels.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for transfers of inventory between OPD satellite locations.
• Provides cross-coverage to related Outpatient Pharmacy operations as needed.
