Job summary

South Shore Health in Weymouth, MA is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to support receiving and stocking medications and assist with central pharmacy operations. The role includes back-up purchasing responsibilities and ensuring compliance with safety and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• High school level education required.
• Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) and MA registration required.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock drug shipments from wholesalers.
• Assist Pharmacy buyer with ordering and procurement.
• Manage inventory in Carousels and perform expiration checks.
• Assist with yearly pharmacy inventory tasks.
• Perform pharmacy technician duties as needed.
• Maintain privacy and security of patient information.
