Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in a retail setting while applying classroom knowledge to real-world practice. You will follow SOPs, participate in a comprehensive training roadmap, and assist in ensuring safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.

You will learn under a licensed pharmacist, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to a caring, compliant patient experience across store operations, immunizations, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Demonstrate empathy and genuine care while serving patients at pickup, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Counsel patients, field medical questions, and collect history to provide optimal care under supervision.
• Assist with immunizations and other on-site health services where allowed by law.
