JobRx, Inc. seeks a pharmacy intern or recent graduate in good standing to join our team in Louisiana. The role involves preparing IV admixtures, maintaining stock, and accurately entering data while following privacy and safety standards.
candidato must hold or be enrolled for a Pharmacy Intern Permit and be willing to travel between facilities as needed. This position emphasizes compliance with regulatory requirements and patient care excellence.
This job accurately compounds IV Admixtures and other assigned preparations utilizing aseptic technique and proper pharmaceutical procedures; maintains stock in all assigned areas including the IV room, Central Pharmacy, compounded items and bottles and vials; accurately fills medication orders; and accurately enters ADR data into computer.

Required - Enrolled in good standing in an accredited College of Pharmacy or graduate who has successfully passed the NABP Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination.
Required - Experience working with standard Pharmacy and office equipment.
Required - Current Pharmacy Intern Permit from the State Board of Pharmacy, permitted to practice as a pharmacy intern by the Board of Pharmacy in the state of practice.

Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.
