Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Hudson Valley seeks a Pharmacy Intern for per diem, rotating shifts at the Cortlandt Manor location. You’ll work under the supervision of pharmacists, assist with drug preparation, and support the satellite unit’s daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Intern License required or in progress; NYPH pharmacy-training program experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and accuracy in medication handling.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, assists pharmacists with preparation of medications and clerical tasks.
• Maintains supplies and ensures accuracy of stock in the satellite Pharmacy Unit.
• Prepares sterile and non-sterile products per pharmacist-approved recipes.
• Rotating shifts; per diem schedule includes 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month at NYP Hudson Valley Hospital.
