Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is inviting pharmacy students to join a per diem internship in our Bronxville, NY location. You will work under the supervision of licensed pharmacists, gaining hands-on experience in compounding and dispensing medications, including oncology therapies.

This internship emphasizes mentorship, on-site collaboration, and exposure to a high-volume clinical setting. Preferred candidates are pharmacy students graduating in 2027 or 2028, enrolled in an accredited school

Qualifications

• Enrolled pharmacy student with NYS intern permit.
• Experience or exposure to hospital pharmacy settings is a plus.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals and related items for safe patient use under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist in preparation of oncology drugs and chemotherapy materials according to policies and procedures.
• Work with the clinical team to ensure accuracy and safety of drug therapies.
