NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Hudson Valley Hospital invites Pharmacy Technician students to join a hands-on internship in Cortlandt Manor, NY. You will work closely with experienced pharmacists, gaining mentorship and exposure to medication preparation and satellite pharmacy operations.

This per diem role features rotating shifts, one day per week and one weekend per month, with on-site requirements. A valid intern license and NYPH training exposure are essential to apply.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED.
• Intern License.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Experience in an approved NYPH pharmacy-training program or at least one-year work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare batches of sterile and non-sterile products according to a pharmacist's recipe.
• Perform clerical duties and maintain supplies in the satellite Pharmacy Unit.
• Reconstitutes solutions, manufactures stock preparations and suspensions, and re-packages medication when needed.

This is a per diem 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month with (rotating shifts) position at NYP Hudson Valley Hospital located at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, Westchester County, NY.

Required Criteria

• High school diploma or GED
• Intern License
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations, i.e., addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Experience in an approved NYPH pharmacy-training program or at least one-year work experience.
