Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in Monroe, NC is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our pharmacy team. Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will contribute to safe, patient-centered care and support daily operations in retail pharmacy.

This part-time internship emphasizes patient safety, regulatory compliance, and teamwork; you’ll develop professional skills and gain exposure to immunizations, inventory, and workflow optimization as you assist in delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0–3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Lead with Heart and provide empathetic patient care.
• Support patient safety and pharmacy practice standards.
• Assist with regulatory requirements and quality assurance.
• Deliver excellent customer service and care.
• Assist with inventory management and workflow (excluding final prescription verification).
