Walgreens in Cleveland, OH is seeking a pharmacy intern to support the pharmacist and team in delivering a best-in-class patient experience. Under supervision, you will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions, while learning policies and procedures that guide dispensing and patient care.

You will participate in customer service, medication dispensing, and health services like counseling, blood pressure checks, and MTM within state scope.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a School of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers and assist with products and services to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Assist pharmacists and pharmacy team under supervision with dispensing prescriptions and pharmacy tasks.
• Help manage inventory and ensure adequate supplies in the Pharmacy Department.
• Report prescription errors promptly and follow Quality Improvement procedures.
• Provide patient counseling and health services within the state scope of practice as directed.
