Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers by greeting and assisting with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Develops strong relationships with customers.
• Under pharmacist supervision, assist in the practice of pharmacy per state, federal, and company policy; adhere to Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
• Performs duties as assigned and supervised for entering, third party processing, filling, and dispensing prescriptions.
• Assists pharmacists and other health care providers in patient care services within the state scope of practice for pharmacy interns.
• Immediately reports prescription errors and adheres to QA and dispensing policies.
• Adheres to Good Faith Dispensing policies.
• Registers sales on the cash register and assists customers to locate products.
• Handles calls to physicians and supports pharmacy inventory management and ordering.
• Maintains cleanliness and order in the Pharmacy Department.
• Complies with all company policies and completes special assignments.
