Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist and pharmacy team to provide patient care and service.
• Process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision and according to policy.
• Enter, third party processing, filling and dispensing prescriptions.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking of pharmaceuticals.
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and follow quality procedures.
• Adhere to Good Faith Dispensing policies.
• Handle cash register and assist customers in locating OTC items.
• Complete training and maintain knowledge of healthcare and pharmacy practices.
