Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacists and pharmacy team members in delivering exceptional patient care. You will use pharmacy systems to access patient and drug information, assist in processing prescriptions, and help provide a distinctive customer experience.

Under supervision, you will learn policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations while contributing to patient counseling, medication safety, and efficient store operations.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Model Walgreens service traits and best practices to teammates.
• Assist pharmacists under supervision in entering and dispensing prescriptions and in patient counseling.
