Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to learn and support the pharmacist and pharmacy team in providing excellent patient experiences, in compliance with state and federal regulations.

You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and to process prescriptions, while delivering a distinctive customer experience. Under supervision, you will assist with dispensing, counseling, and health services within the scope of practice for interns, and help with inventory

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Assist pharmacist and pharmacy team in processing prescriptions under supervision.
• Engage in customer service best practices and health services support as allowed by state scope of practice.
• Help maintain inventory, stock supplies, and support department operations.
