Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a US school of pharmacy and pursuing pharmacist training.
• Hold a current state issued Pharmacy Intern license to work in the department.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome and appreciated by answering questions about products and services.
• Provide drug counseling to customers and assist with over the counter recommendations.
• Input prescription information accurately into the pharmacy system and dispense medications.
• Contact prescribers for authorization and manage third party insurance information.
• Assist with immunizations under the supervision of the pharmacist and stock orders.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and compliance with QA standards in the department.
