Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a pharmacy internship for students currently enrolled in a professional pharmacy program in Goodyear, AZ. You will focus on patient counseling, customer service, OTC medications, immunizations, MTM, point-of-care testing and disease state management under supervision.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy students enrolled in a professional program will focus on patient counseling, customer service, OTC meds, immunization and MTM.
• Experience with vaccine administration or MTM is desirable but not required.
• Must be a full-time student enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a licensed pharmacist or preceptor.
• Fill prescriptions following laws and company policies.
• Offer advice on prescription knowledge, drug therapy, and health products.
• Support initiatives to increase pharmacy profitability.
• Participate in clinical services.
