Job summary

Fred Meyer, Inc. seeks a Pharmacy Intern to support daily operations in the pharmacy department. Actively enrolled in a US pharmacy program and licensed intern will assist with customer questions, input prescriptions, and provide drug counseling.

You will help with OTC recommendations, dispense medications under supervision, stock and organize medications, and support immunization services. This part-time role offers growth within the Kroger family and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a US school of pharmacy.
• Pharmacy Intern license required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist with OTC medication recommendations.
• Enter patient and prescription information into pharmacy computer systems.
• Dispense medications under supervision and ensure accuracy.
• Contact prescribers' offices for authorization as needed.
• Stock and organize pharmacy inventory.
• Provide immunizations under supervision when qualified.
